Applications for the DofE Residential Week at the British Racing School in Newmarket, taking place throughout 2026 are now open.

The Residential Week is aimed specifically at those completing their Gold DofE Award.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

Please make sure that you meet the following criteria:

Aged 16+ and enrolled in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Programme
You do not need to be able to ride or have experience with horses, but an Interest in horses, riding and British horse racing will help
Good attitude and willingness to learn and work hard!
Love of animals
Weigh under 11 stone or 70kg*

* this is for horse welfare reasons when riding
